On December 9, 2021, a meeting of the steering committee of the ALLVET project (Erasmus+ KA2 "HE and VET alliance establishment according to Bologna Principals implementation via VET teachers’ capacity building") took place. Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University (IKBFU) was represented by the project manager of the ALLVET program by Elena Zimovina, PhD, Senior Researcher of Sociological laborator at IKBFU, and Daria Gerber, Director of International Office.
At the meeting, they discussed current issues of the project's implementation. Representatives of Immanuel Kant Federal University reported on the work done and voiced their next tasks for the project. In addition, a work plan was outlined and approved as part of the project implementation on the basis of the participating universities in 2022.
All committee members agreed that the project is of great practical benefit to the partner universities in terms of creating a platform for interaction between secondary vocational and higher education.
Recall that the ALLVET project is aimed at creating a system of interaction between SPE and HE, which meets the principles of the Bologna Process, based on improving the capacity of SPE teachers.
